I have struggled for years with taking the time to write out and publish a video explaining why I’m here creating content on food and fitness.

I'm not here just because plant based eating and fitness has always been my ‘calling’, or that I just grew to love it because I lost weight and now feel great.

Every time I’ve tried to sit down and write out my story I can’t get through it. It puts me back in the most painful years of my life.  I don't want to relive what has happened to me in the last decade and potentially have people give their input on my life or my family's life.

But you don’t know me if I don’t tell it. And my message of “get fit” and “eat healthy” isn’t really that valuable without it.

Changing my diet and starting to exercise saved my life. I may not have lived this long without it.

After years of giving you meal plans and fitness videos, I want to finally tell you why I’m doing what I do, and hopefully you can get to know me better.

For those of you who are going through trauma or loss right now, I hope I can be there for you and I hope I can be someone you can relate to. I don't want you to feel alone in your pain or numbness.
